The million dollar question? How do you get to be on that coveted #1 spot on the leaderboard?
There's a few ways to go about this. The most important aspect when collecting trading cards is to collect. So we'll reward you accordingly!
- More cards = moar points!✨
As your collection grows, you'll find new cards that you haven't opened before. Never opened a batman card before? Bang! Moar points for you! The more new cards you open, the moar points you'll receive!
Note: As you open cards that you already own, you might see an addition of points, but it's just as well possible to receive +0. Check out bullet point 3 a little bit further down to find out why! - Collect higher tier cards to receive more points!
As explained in the collect section, you'll be able to find rarer tier cards within your packs. The rarer the tier, the more base points this card will give you: Common base points < Uncommon base points. - The lower the mint number, the higher the score!
Not all collections are created equal and in the world of NFT, every item in your collection will be unique compared to that of others!
You'll have noticed the number on the bottom left of your card, which is called the mint number. The fewer the total mints available of a particular card means the asset is more rare to find! This ties back to the tier the card belongs in. As we've learned in the previous point, the tier is ensuring a certain amount of base points.
That's, however, not the only thing that's important. A card may have 1,000 mints with mint numbers A1 – A1000. Collecting lower mints = higher collection scores. It's very well possible that you find a lower tier card with a lower mint number than a higher tier card with a higher mint number and receive moar points! 🤯
TL;DR You'll want to collect as many new cards as possible from a high tier and a low mint number. Try to fill the missing cards in your collection as you'll receive a minimum of base points per new card in your collection. If you start having duplicates, be sure to keep the lowest mint number of that card to keep that sweet score!
